World of Wacraft: Cataclysm

Hey all. I’m sure most of all you WoW fans are well aware of the new upcoming expansion for World of Wacraft. Yup, World of Wacraft: Cataclysm. Here are just some of the new things Blizzard will be adding/doing.

-Completely changing the detail of Azeroth. Giant craters, destroyed terrains, etc.

-Access to The Maelstrom

-New Races; Golbins and Worgens

-Flying mounts in Azeroth

-New race and class combinations

-Level caps (Professions, Level etc) raised

-New Profession “Archaeology”

-And obviously, new raids/dungeons.

Anyone wish to beta-test? (and bug me to finish)

Hey guys! No recent updates on the MaNGOS from me even though I probably could have done it by now. Sorry I know there is definatly some people out there who want me to do this but becuase there were hardly any that commented, I got lazy… You get the idea.

So what I need is some people to first of all, bug me to recompile the latest MaNGOS and then write up a tutoiral I should have somewhere on how to install it. But becuase my WoW is taking so long to update (I’m only on patch 3.01 to 3.0.2) I will also need some people to beta-test it for me. This will involve me sending you the files for the server and the instructions on how to install it. From there you can help me by saying whats good and bad and any bugs ect.

Custom MaNGOS still not released

Yes, I know I have been saying that I am nearly ready to release my custom MaNGOS to you lot which IS true. But the major setback I have got is the installing of the server. Currently, there is no guide that is updated enough on Reaper-x to do that and the MaNGOS forums aren’t the most friendly of places. Currently, I have the fully compiled MaNGOS waiting with ScriptDev2 D:

I’m sorry that I can’t release it sooner but as soon as I can, I will release it.

Setting up LAN on Reaper-x MaNGOS (making it public) help

Some people are having problems setting up LAN on their server so if you get a problem please feel free to comment below and me or someone else will help you. Reaper-x, how to set up LAN.

As some of us may know, Reaper-x has released another update for WoW patch/version 2.3.3, Reaper-x MaNGOS 5225. As usual, this is a help thingy if you need any help. BTW quite a few things have changed on it. Please comment if your stuck and me or someone else will be glad to help.

Reaper-x just released a new compiled mangos for patch 2.3.3 (click HERE to go to it) and it has a few more option with it (AHBOT is easier to set up, option 5 (number might have changed) now works, and you can choose from UDB or the silvermoon one. I’ve now got reaper-x-mangos 5082 installed and well, can answer your questions now. If a few different people keep getting the same error i will edit this post again and put the error in with the answer if i know it. For some reason this post is counted as a trackback on the reaper-x-mangos 5082 on the reaper-x site but i dont mind and anyway, ive got a lot more traffic becuase of it.

How to add WoW custom vendors and items ect. (Reaper Mangos, any patch i think)

I can see this is my most viewed post on my site so I Will be updating it as soon as I’ve got my compiled MaNGOS stable and released it. I may comlpetely remake the guide for my compiled MaNGOS and rerelease it when it’s ready.
