Reaper-x MaNGOS 5472

I haven’t installed it yet but get the idea thats its just like the others on the install basis. As usual, this is for people who are stuck on something to do with Reaper-c MaNGOS, this time for version 5472… Nothing much else, just comment if your stuck :P

you mean the maps, vmaps and dbc extractor tools dont work? mangosd and realmd dont extract the maps, dbc and vmaps for you if thats what your saying.

  3. ive got a problem when i use reaper-x-mangos.exe and use option 4 (the one with configuring the rates like the exp) i type in my dir for where my dbc files vmaps maps are but then i get a error saying

“the system cannot find the path specified.
DBC directory dosnt exist to put/copy/move the DBC directory into C:\program files\world of warcraft\data

ive tried editing mangosd.conf myself but the config has changed and i can only find a example dir…

    DataDir
    # Data directory setting.
    # Important: DataDir needs to be quoted, as it is a string which may contain space characters.
    # Example: “C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data”
    #
tried changing but still dosnt work

Mostly ok with my install, however when I run the mangosd.exe I get an error seeing table characters.characters. I went into sql and it seems to think that the table is called characters.character – If I rename this to the one it thinks i need I get more errors.
Tthe error I get when I rename the characters.character file to characters.character is with the mangos file (so not related)
it is looking for a mangos.mangos_script table,
this doesnt seem to exist in my copy of the file.

should have added this is happening with the current release to 2.4.2

Did you do a fresh install? If so have a quick look at the updated http://www.reaper-x.com/2008/05/22/reaper-mangos-5931-with-scriptdev-412server-compatible-with-242-udb-only/

I cannot seem to find extract-enXX.bat, can anybody help me?

It should be in your tools folder in your reaper-x mangos folder. If not look inside the folders in the tools folders untill you find it. The reason why I’m a bit confused as to where it is, is that the layout has changed lots.
