Hey guys! No recent updates on the MaNGOS from me even though I probably could have done it by now. Sorry
I know there is definatly some people out there who want me to do this but becuase there were hardly any that commented, I got lazy… You get the idea.
So what I need is some people to first of all, bug me to recompile the latest MaNGOS and then write up a tutoiral I should have somewhere on how to install it. But becuase my WoW is taking so long to update (I’m only on patch 3.01 to 3.0.2) I will also need some people to beta-test it for me. This will involve me sending you the files for the server and the instructions on how to install it. From there you can help me by saying whats good and bad and any bugs ect.
If you’re up for it then just comment below!

I’ve noticed that any link I have thats a .co.cc link has been dead. I don’t know what is wrong but the .tk link is working fine. Does anyone know what could be wrong with it?

O hai. I’m now part of a mod team creating a mod for Half Life 2. It is to be call Combined. I founded the mod and so far it’s going as well as it could be. It’s mainly based in Half Life 2: Episode 1 but only Half Life 2 will be required to play the mod. The mod’s main page can be found at Combined Mod and a blog can also be found at Combined Mod Blog. I am currently re-writing the mods story line which I may post here. But it is currently avalable on either of those links.
There’s a lot more I could write but the mod does kinda occupy time, which is part of the reason why I’m late posting this.

Yes, I know I have been saying that I am nearly ready to release my custom MaNGOS to you lot which IS true. But the major setback I have got is the installing of the server. Currently, there is no guide that is updated enough on Reaper-x to do that and the MaNGOS forums aren’t the most friendly of places. Currently, I have the fully compiled MaNGOS waiting with ScriptDev2 D:
I’m sorry that I can’t release it sooner but as soon as I can, I will release it.

It may seem that this site/me isn’t very active. Well, I think that anyway. So what I’m going to try and do is post at least one post a week, to do with gaming mainly on games I’ve got. This should help popularise the site and create a bigger community and give me something to do.
Feel anything else should be done?

I won’t be supporting Reaper-x repacks any more as they are moving to Trinity whereas I will be staying with MaNGOS. Trinity may be based of MaNGOS but I believe it is quite different. For older versions of Reaper-x that did support MaNGOS, I will still help on those but I won’t be supporting any Reaper-x repacks in the future if they don’t come back to MaNGOS.
Meanwhile, I am currently in the proccess of compiling my own MaNGOS repack but am having a few troubles so don’t expect it to be released before the end of January. I will try my best to support UDB and Project SilverMoon as well if I can.

Update: Sorry this has been taking so long. I am having troubles with installing the MaNGOS at the moment. More info will be coming as soon as I know.
I have decided I am going to start compiling my own MaNGOS for everyone that uses this site to have a go at. It most likely won’t be as easy to install as Reaper-X MaNGOS due to the fact that I won’t be making bat and exe files to run the installation for now.
Once the MaNGOS team have settled on SVN or Git I will start compiling my own MaNGOS and then releasing it to you with an instalation guide.
Please comment about what you think of this below.

I’ve started Mapping in the Source Engine. I am a beginner at it and I’m hoping to get better. If you don’t know, the Source Engine is what the games I have on Steam use.
If anyone wants to help me feel free.
